With a brand new site the Dreamhack crew has opened the registration for the Quakeworld 1on1 tournament at the Dreamhack Winter 2009 event today. As opposed to the e-mail solution used the last times, you now register on the brand new tournament site to get signed up and confirmed for the tournament.

When writing this there are currently not many players signed up, but judging from the success of the last Quakeworld tournament on Dreamhack, reputable players are much likely to show up for some hot Quakeworld action.

The prizes for some of the tournaments have also been revealed, among them are Quakeworld and Quake Live. Note that the following figures includes cash and "worth of products". The prize purse for the Quakeworld tournament is 15,000SEK (~$2050) and the Quake Live tournament has 60,000SEK on stake.
