spmods in ezquake?

I know this is asked alot but I have 2 mods I want to play called qzone and beyond belief.I know how to do the -game QZONE and bbelief thing but when I launch the game i just get normal quake.When I launch a map in the console I dont get any new content like monsters and weapons.Any help would be appreciated.

what client do you use?

ezQuake is a multiplayer engine. It does not work with singleplayer stuff (and even if, it would be different gameplay). Use http://www.celephais.net/fitzquake/

That thing works good so thanks.Is it impossible to play single player?I saw several mods like beyond belief run in ezquake before without this problem.

Start single player game in menu and then in console:
disconnect
gamedir bbelief
map bbstart

You could, you will not have a nice experience. For example you will not be able to grab the nailgun in the first map.

I've played through bbelief with ezQuake. Works well enough. You will have more problems with other mods that have custom monsters etc...

At least back when i tried it, Fitzquake didn't have QW-physics available so it might be annoying if you are used to them.

Try FTE QW too.

you can also try darkplaces client.
