GTX 660 supports only HDMI 1.4. Full support of 120Hz requires HDMI 2.0.

HDMI -> DVI-D cables do not exist, dvi-d there is just a mechanical connector and it works as a single-link. As your laptop has only HDMI and VGA try to connect it via HDMI and create a custom 120Hz resolution.

You can crank up that monitor to 120hz with VGA cable in 1920x1080.
But it will be blurry

You need to check if the HDMI connection is single-link or dual-link. It's only gonna work if its dual-link + you need a dual-link HDMI cable.

All hdmi (except type b which is not produced) are single link, it can have more bandwitdh than dvi single link though. Now if it comes to hdmi-dvi-d it's theoritically possible, you need just to find an active hdmi-dvi-d cable. I tried to help Szturm in PM, but failed.
