Hi, does anybody know how to contact whomever administrates qw.fi?
Can't connect to quakeworld.fi without a proxy.
Can't even ping it. DNS is resolved but there's no response.
And, most importantly, QTV doesn't work as most of it is quakeworld.fi ((
The only explanation I see is that my IP segment is firewalled for some reason.
I'm pretty sure I never did anything to get firewalled

Quakeworld.fi is administrated by Renzo. I think that the problem is with routing between your ISP and qw.fi. Can you do a traceroute to qw.fi and paste the result to this thread?

Seems like a routing problem at SuomiCom which hosts qw.fi. The traceroute should end like this:

You could try to contact SuomiCom (helpdesk@suomicommunications.com) and tell that there is no routing between your ISP and an IP on their network (217.119.36.79). It will probably help if you tell them what ISP are you using and what is your public IP address.

LOL. I was, indeed, firewalled by Suomi Communications because of 'very high number of hacking attempts' coming from my provider's network. I do get a lot of google bans because of some idiot with a botnet or a virus around here, but why would that thing target something THERE I've no idea.
But everything works fine again (for the time being).
