I'm looking to attend QHLan but there are a few things I first need to figure out.

1. Will there be any possibility of me being able to rent a 120hz tft? (I know that's asking for a lot but worth asking just in case!). Also on the same topic of monitors, will CRT's be abundant as far as rental is concerned?

2. I don't have a PC, do I have any options for rental or will I have to find someone to borrow from?

Those are my two main concerns I suppose, a third question could be about the hostel pricing but I guess I can figure that one out with some googling.

Cheers!

Good morning! Mmm, coffee...

120hz tft will most probably not be rented out on the LAN. There will, however, be plenty of CRTs for rental (17", some 19", some 21". There will also be some computers for rent there. How good their actual performance is, I don't know, but it seems like they can do decent:

There is plenty of sleeping space on the LAN area, but perhaps you're a bit posh? If so, a quick google would probably solve this for you.

Sees på LAN :>

1, No 120hz TFT's - But as Rikoll says, we have plenty of CRT monitors.

2, We will have pc's for rent, I can't remember the specs atm, but more information about this will be released at some point

3, Regarding hostel, that is not really needed, as it's in a school and we will have plenty of classrooms to sleep in, so you can get your own private room

2. Dell 745 is the computers that we rent out C2D 2 GB ram and ATi X1300 no super computer but Lornelin tested and it works.

3.We will have rooms for sleeping but the own room is not possible beacuase of the fireregulations we need to know where there are ppl if something happens.
But Room for sleeping is not an issue.

Prices for the rentals will be 100SEK for monitor and 300SEK for computer.
More on this will come up on the website this weekend.
