Hello,
I used to play TeamFortress and i'd like to get back playing again. I've tried to download quake client, fuhquake, but it doesen't work It only says W_LoadWadFile: Couldn't load gfx.wad
??? I have Windows Vista 64bit and i'd like to know what am i supposed to do to get playing TF? Should i download another client? Or is it possible to play TF with vista at all?

www.nQuake.com - then download teamfortress and put it in a qwtf dir

It's downloading something in the installation progress, but it just sends error reports like 'error downloading ezquake.zip SendRequest Error' I can stop downloading, or try again or pass that file by....

e: i didn't download anything

Maybe choose a different mirror, there's a dedicated step for that in the installation process.

You can skip that pak1.pak step. If you do so, you won't be able to play maps like dm2, dm3, dm4 and dm6. These maps are however the most played maps in duel and 4on4.

As the text in the install step says, you need to get that pak1.pak file (about 33 MB) from the original Quake game. It contains all the maps.

U can download the maps from most of the servers. Just install nquake and then go to pangela or some other server that allows map download,

Intall nQuaka (as already pointed out) and connect to a TF server and all the files needed shall be downloaded. Also, look for zelTF on google, it's a package with everything you need to play TF.

Ok, game worked and i played it a bit Then i tried to join one server that was full, as a spectator of course. Then it said: ' HOST ERROR: CM_LOADMAP: MAPS/dm2.bsp not found. And same thing another server, with dm4. I played both of those maps before this happened so im bit confused whats it about.. can anyone help me?

hes actually mentioned that twice for. well, heres a third as well :-)

edit: Maybe you got some different version of dm2 / dm4 ?
