I was thinking of trying to organise some regular small knockout tournaments, just lasting one evening or afternoon.
No seedings, strict schedule, short matches (probably only one map). Rotate the game types and map pools.
Not bother with a website. Organise through IRC, and have a report on qw.nu and esr, with screenshots and demos from the final after.
Good idea? Would anyone be interested in being an admin if I went ahead?

Well maybe. This wouldn't be custom maps only though and I would want to do 4v4, assuming there were enough active teams for it to work. And it would be organised from IRC, no registration or anything, just turn up on the channel at the time specified and play.

And allow mixed teams etc, any team of four players at all.
