Hi folks,

we have a new demo of our project, Remake Quake. This time it includes five DM/FFA maps, and one CTF map, plus CTF frikbot support and a host of other stuff.

It's a Netquake mod, because there's new weapons and stuff - the maps could easily work in a Quakeworld environment, though. Technically

So, FTEQW should definitely be able to run it, and probably EzQuake, too? Not sure.

Download (120 MB):

Unzip this into a new folder like quake/rqtest and run with the -game rqtest switch as always.

Add -sndspeed 44100 and something like -mem 128 on the command line.

Map names:

dm1rq
dm2rq
dm4rq
dm6rq
dm7rq

ctf1rq

"addbot" adds a bot, waypoints are included.

You can do some new moves, like walljump, pogo (simply hold Jump), stairglide (pogo up stairs), shaft climb, and there's a swinging grapple, too.
