We decided to change a few rules to increase activity in general and to get rid of inactive players:

1. The schedule will be 1 game per week.
2. Players who have not played at least one game within the first 3 weeks will be kicked and banned for season 3. (when we see that you really try to find your opponents, but they do not show up, you will not be kicked and banned)
3. Players who have played less than 5 games at the end of the season will be removed from the final ranking and be banned for season 3. (when we see that you really try to find your opponents, but they do not show up, you will not be banned)
4. There will be no point reduction system this time. If a game is not played 3 weeks after its scheduled date, either we will give 0 points to both or give WOs (not decided yet).


If this means that after the first 3 weeks we lose a lot of players and in the end a lot of players will be banned for season 3, so be it. We rather have small leagues with active players instead of a giant ones with a lot of inactivity.

I need to be put at least 2 divisions lower, do I need to tell that someone or will you go through the divs and check for such things?

Instead of banning the idling players I'd put them all into one div called "idlers' div". And they have to play with each other even if this means playing 30 games per season. Idlers will be forced to search for idle players -- that won't be pleasant. Players with matches played more then 0 (5, 10, half of all) will be returned to main divs as if they're new players. Total idlers may "play" another season in "idlers' div". I think this will be punishing enough to not sign up and idle.

Unreal's suggestion sounds good to me.

It's been over a month now, and I counted 20 people with 0 games. How about doing some kicking and banning?

We agreed upon first 3 games. The deadline for the first 3 games was last sunday. Kicking will be done on friday this week

And could someone resurrect Grump to fix those few wrong results?

Whats up? Isn't there anyone else who can perform this kicking stuff other than Grump, who seems to be away from the scene rather much for a head amin of an on-going tournament? Also, I think it would have been a decent idea to spam through the bot that people needs to play x amount of games in x amount of times, or they will get kicked from this and banned from the next season.

I will really try to sort some w/os on sunday. Been busy with work again, or the other admins can grant w/os to whomever they think deserves it. Please remember that players points will go down if they get a w/o and the other player is later kicked.
