We will start signups on the 27th of August and they will close 3 weeks later, 16th of september.

We will introduce new maps and a 2on2-league without playoffs.

More will come soon

Smaller divisions this time? Last time the 20 teams in one "group" was a bit overkill.

I already wrote this on qwdrama, but the forum seems like a better place to discuss, so I'll give it another shot here.

First off: I admire the NNQL team for giving it another shot despite the problems of the last season (see above). It takes nerves and courage to run a tournament/league and it sure has its difficulties.

However, I'm skeptical about a couple of points:
* Signups open for 3 weeks? Noooooooooooooooooooooooo. That sounds like the same shit is gonna happen all over again. 32784 teams signing up again, half of which are gonna be like "oh, season has started?" or "oh, i had forgotten we signed up!" once the tourney starts. I really consider 3 weeks to be far too long. Opening signups for too long also attracts those people that weren't interested for ages but eventually said "oh fuck it, i'll sign up". And those are exactly the players that end up not caring about their games. Last year the NNQL team made such a big hype about "omg, we got 150 teams signed up!", but look where it got you. Leagues/Tournaments should in general aim more towards activity than size.
* Please check who the signups are and what IRC channel they provide in their info. Last season there were 2 teams in our division that consisted of fakes with a non-existant IRC channel. When I went there I was actually the only person there, not even a bot. It takes about 3 extra seconds to quickly join an IRC channel to see if it's legit. Please do that.
* As mentioned above, smaller divisions is an absolute must. Groups with playoffs would be nice!
* Please expand your admin team. As mentioned above I am aware of the fact that it's a tough job, and nobody should be pointing fingers. However, given the amount of teams/games, as well as the lack of experience of the admins, I really think you should bring a couple more people on bord.

Good luck though!

Last season was a catastrophe from the start with no real signup system that worked good!
With this system we will have a better overlook over the teams that have signed-up so we can easily reject them if we want.
3 weeks might be to long, thats what I told paradoks about EQL but he still wanted a 2 month signup time (or 1 month) so I think that question is devided but sure, I understand your pov and I want 2 weeks aswell.. thnx for the input, might take it.

yes we will do that with this system, remember we had to automatically to add the teams 1 night before the kickoff and it was just a big fuzz! "ORDNING O REDA" now

Depends on the signed up teams and the timelimit the tourney will run.
I will make up a plan and suggest it to the rest of the admins and hope that they accept it
Playoffs will not be a part of NNQL from what I have heard from the rest of the NNQL-crew, I dont wanna have playoffs, but thats just my pov for a better tourney.

Things to remember before joining;

2, do you got the experience of handling games and getting flames?

Does it serve any purpose to have team names for two player teams? Would be easier to read the webpage if you just used player names.
