Sorry for the inconvenience, but since I don't have access to IRC any longer it's pretty hard to arrange stuff. As said I'll try to take a look into it and see if I can get a Quake3 admin to reset the servers for me.

The status for the FFA server atm is not well. The box on where the server is installed is protected in a way that only persons can connect to them if they either have my home IP address, Yomama's IP address or use it from XS4ALL's office. Since my IP is inactive, Yomama nowhere is to be found and no-one can enter the XS4ALL office this is a problem.

I'm trying to contact a friend who might be able to use my home PC and thus IP to get it sorted, but due to my lack of internet I can't really make sure he will, but I'll be trying this option.

In the meantime, enjoy the other servers

It appears it will be quite a while before XS4ALL comes back online.
In the meantime I've put up a regular KTX Matchless FFA server (latest MVDSV), that can replace XS4ALL.

Uh yeah as we have been saying, most people from Western Europe (like me) can't play there, because of high ping and even higher packetloss.
I have 120ms ping and 10 packetloss on elvis, while i have 50ms ping and 2 packetloss on my own server (quake.enkrypt.org:27500).
Which makes it a perfect replacement for people who used to play on XS4ALL.

enkrypt, I get 10 pl and massiv ping on your server!

I played yesterday with about 6 other people,
everyone had decent ping and packetloss.
Should be fine for anyone in NL, BE, DE, FR, ...

i get 7 pl which is not fine, and i'm in germany
