Things change along the way while I'm fiddling.
Some bits I just put already in inks, that will stay, I just will have to do with it.
But the pencil bits are changing constantly.

Hi Buur,

How do you avoid smearing when using a lead pencil? Any tips are welcome?
Here are some of my "bored-at-work" post-it drawings:

You don't avoid it, unless you are drawing in a very unnatural way by keeping everything but the pencil tip off the paper. I just let the smearing go, things I really want to keep I put in ink right away. If you want a pencil work only and dont want to smear or smudge bits then some hairspray will help as fixation. But that's smelly.
Lurv those little post-it thingies man.
Excellent way of wasting time without getting bored.
When drawing time flies like a banana.
Post more of it please!

Here is what I've been doing today. Worked mostly at the bottom. Lots on the weeds, going everywhere. Also a lost and leaking bottle in there. And some other thingies.
Bit hard to see maybe.

Not sure if this is getting boring to see, but a lot of pencil sketches have been through a lot of changes before they end up in ink, also I'm working in a very unlogical way with putting some bits in ink already and then having to figure out how to fit it the things I roughly sketched in pencil there.
Still, eventhough I have been working a lot on it, it might be hard to see for just the observer and maybe it will look as 'oh more of the same' then.
Anyways, here is my progress.

Me like
Innocent child facing some of the 'bad' elements of the big world.
Reminded me of on old country song – Satan is real by the Louvin brothers – for some reason!?!
Isn't the demons head a little too nice or something, should be more terrifying

I not really had the intention to make a demon or something. Most people call it a dragon.
I think it is more a combination of a dragon, a giraffe, an alien and pingpongballs. Hahahah.
Yeh ok, I guess you can call that a demon.
More terrifying, as if a tongue the shame of an clawed arm isn't scary enough....
Will see what the background colours will do to it.
So far I have done the colouring completely in pencils, but for the background I think I will go use waterpaints.
