Bps reports that the delayed 16th final of European Quake League is scheduled for tomorrow at 18:00CEST. As you may be aware of, the clans battling it out in the final are Suddendeath and The Viper Squad in a best of five maps series.

The game can as usual be spectated with your QuakeWorld client via qtv.quakeworld.nu

The Besmella-Quake 1on1 tournament kicks off tonight as the signups were closed today and the draw for the 16 player bracket has been completed. There were 24 players signed up which means a handful of players gets to play one extra game compared to the majority. This means the participants are now free to start playing their games!

Dirtbox is hosting another edition of the Besmella-Quake 1on1 tournaments. The goal is to have a 32 player bracket with competitors who battle it out on DM2, DM4 and DM6. For any North Americans located on the east coast it shall be noted that you are invited to play as well against the mainly European combatants.

The Subsurface ladder now has an IRC channel on Quakenet. The channel you should join is #Subsurface to have a chat with other competitors on the ladder. An additional feature that the channel provides is that the Subsurface bot in there will announce when a player join any of the 1on1 ladder queues on the website. This should make it easier for players to monitor the activity in the establishment phase which should see a lot more games played for the valuable ladder points!

This week it's time for playoff in the European Quake League and while there have been some great games played in the group stages, there shall be even greater games to come in the knockout stages.
