You seem to be correct HangTime.

The swedish state has decided that when a company or organization has computers set up for gaming purposes they fall under the same tax laws as one armed bandits and arcade games. This law will not affect internet café´s that supply other services than gaming, ergo if you can check your mail and surf on the café´s computer, you´re free from tax.

This decision targets the LANs and cafés who have computers in place for the sole purpose of gaming. These requirements have to be met for there to be a tax issue.

The tax table is as follows:
1-10 gaming OS = 3000 SEK
11-25 gaming OS = 10 000 SEK
26+ gaming OS = 35 000 SEK

The swedish state is pretty well known for their (our) high taxes and almost everything you can think of being subject to it. This shouldn´t really surprise anyone, but that fact doesn´t make people happier [when politicians who has little to no contact with gaming makes such decisions].

How will this affect you?
I can´t imagine it having any affect what-so-ever. A bit grumpier LAN organizers in Sweden perhaps.

I realize you´re not serious, but just to re-iterate: No, he does not. He neither supplies computers solely set up for gaming purposes nor is he a company.
