(Changed sensitivity to 7.5 in razer drivers.)

in_mouse 3, no acceleration, m_filter 0, well standard settings on the rest.
12-15cm something for turn-around.

Razer Deathadder

500hz

1,800 DPI

in_mouse 1 (I get what I presume to be buffer overflow using in_mouse 2, and in_mouse 3 makes mouse buttons just stick down and I walk around firing shotgun constantly like some kind of moron).

try in_di_bufsize (in_mouse 2), test with developer 1 to see if you have worn about overflow.

Try in_raw_allbuttons 1. You might need a more recent copy of ezquake if you don't have that command.

Yes as stev sad in_raw_allbuttons 1 or just delete the razer drivers, the drivers allso gives me a few ms delay on buttons, thats why i dont use them

thnx for the tip, but i've just tried that and still it doesn't work ( ofc i in_restart'ed ) .. also a weird thingie with in_mouse 3 is that it simply won't load with the game.. even though its on the config.cfg i have to type in_restart every time I run ezquake or my mouse won't move.

Just noticed that one could change dpi (800/1600) even without the SetPoint drivers
Halved my sensitivity in game and it worked out well.
Should I change something else when I double my dpi?

Thought I would post my settings as well but I wasn't sure about what dpi I had so I dug out my manual (for the first time) and found out that the dpi was changable and also changable without setpoint drivers.
Conclusion: Always read the manual

Different mice have different tracking accuracies on different DPI settings. I'd guess that the diamondback 3g is better suited to working at 800 if it feels better to you.

Razer Diamondback 3G / 800dpi / in_mouse "3" / 9cm

I got the wheel working with raw input by using the config utility. Go to Buttons and select "advanced" for Scroll Up / Down. Select the keys of your choice and bind those rather than MWHEELUP / DOWN. Sorted. (This will, of course, break scrolling, but it's a price I'm willing to pay.)
